Authentic Autumn in Chepstow, South Wales
During my evening walk to Chepstow riverside in South Wales, I attempted to capture the ordinary views in a different way, using available evening light.
The photographs reveal rich and vibrant colours of Autumn in Chepstow, South Wales.
In my work I look for reflections, foreground and background interaction, unusual surface formations and their relation with available light highlighting the essence of a particular view.
I waited for unique sunset light to get the best moments of fleeting radiance in order to create a reflection image. The light unveiled the silhouette of Chepstow castle and scars of the mud during the River Wye low tide period.
The reflective surfaces of the river bank result in an abstract quality, revealing their dynamic textures.
